About American Royal Beauties
American Royal Beauties is a natural scholarship pageant. We believe in empowering women so they can empower others. We emphasize the importance of community service and inner beauty - we believe that true beauty is found on the inside.
We will develop young ladies into future leaders of tomorrow with good moral values, goals and community presence. We will teach them to be positive role models and to lead by example. Each contestant will have an opportunity to shine on stage. No pageant experience is required to participate. Our pageant is the perfect stepping stone to helping young ladies learn the importance of effective communication, the role of attire, invaluable life skills, and wining interview techniques.
Our national community service goal is to partner with organizations that support and empower women. We will strive to serve these women and encourage our royalty to be actively involved with these organizations. Our motto, Crown to Serve, reflects this statement. Our crown stands for service and devotion to helping others. The mission of American Royal Beauties is to teach young women about the heart of service and being a part of a family that builds and encourages.
Our greatest desire is that all of our contestants and their families will have a fun and relaxing pageant weekend. We want every girl to walk away with precious memories and life-long friends.
Meet the Directors
Susan is the founder of StarJewel Publishing LLC, and is the Owner and Executive Director for American Royal Beauties and StarJewel Showcase, a talent and modeling based competition and pageant. She has an extensive background in business, accounting, and writing; and has operated and owned several successful ventures over the past 25 years.
Sarah is a graduate of Bowling Green University where she excelled academically and graduated ahead of her class. Her degree allows her to incorporate elements from the business world as well as important aspects of altruism and serving the community. Sarah has been involved and working in pageantry since her teens and is currently heading up the National Program for American Royal Beauties.
The year 2020 heralded a new and exciting chapter for Susan and Sarah as they launched the benevolent arm of their organization - Crown to Serve. The mission of Crown to Serve is empowering women to help other women by providing programs that teach personal development; as well as facilitate the collection and distribution of donations for at-risk populations. Provide monetary services for women in the form of scholarships or forgivable loans.
