The Ruby Project
Essential Care Everyday Dignity
Access to menstrual products and personal-care supplies should not depend on someone’s financial circumstances.
The Ruby Project is Crown to Serve’s signature initiative, providing essential products through care bags and community distribution partners.
Addressing Period Poverty
Period poverty means lacking access to the menstrual products, facilities, or information needed to manage a period.
The Ruby Project helps address the product-access barrier by providing menstrual care supplies to girls and women who may otherwise go without them. These essentials can help people participate more comfortably in school, work, and daily life.
Period care is healthcare.
Our Care Bags

Ruby Menstrual Care Bags
These bags provide essential menstrual care products for people with limited access to supplies. Distribution partnerships help get products into the hands of those who need them.
These items will support girls and women during their monthly cycle so they don't have to miss out on anything.
Ruby Rescue Bags
Ruby Rescue Bags provide essential personal-care items for girls and women experiencing domestic violence, foster care transitions, displacement, or other unexpected crise.

Ruby Comfort and Care Bags
These bags offer practical care items and educational resources for women and families navigating pregnancy or infant loss, as well as mothers during the postpartum period.
Working With Community Partners
We collaborate with schools, shelters, nonprofit organizations, and other community groups to identify needs and distribute supplies.
These partnerships help us reach people through organizations already serving their communities.
